This is a work in progress - more details and photos coming soon!
2025 was a transformative year. Looking back, it's wild how much happened in just 12 months. From getting married to extended travels to finally kicking a 10-year habit, this year pushed me in ways I didn't expect.
Got married
The biggest milestone of the year. After years together, we finally made it official. The planning, the ceremony, the celebration - all of it was both exhausting and incredible. Looking back at photos, I can't believe how fast it all went. Marriage feels different in the best way - there's a sense of partnership and commitment that deepens everything.

Travel adventures
Japan - Two weeks in Yokohama
We spent two weeks in Yokohama, and it was everything I hoped it would be. The food, the culture, the energy of the city. We explored Tokyo, tried every ramen shop we could find, and got lost in the side streets discovering small cafes and shops.
Two weeks felt like both forever and not enough time. Already planning when we can go back.

Mexico
Mexico was a completely different vibe from Japan. Warm weather, incredible food, and a more relaxed pace. We explored local markets, spent time at the beach, and just disconnected for a while. Sometimes you need that reset.

Professional milestones
Registered Apple dev account
Finally took the leap and registered for an Apple developer account. I've been working on side projects for years, but this felt like a commitment to actually shipping something to the App Store. Working on apps that I hope to launch soon.
Personal achievements
Bought a Tudor watch
Treated myself to a Tudor watch this year. It's something I'd been eyeing for a while, and it felt like the right time to celebrate the year's milestones. Every time I check the time, it's a reminder of what we accomplished this year.
Stopped vaping
After 10 years, I finally quit vaping. I wrote about how I did it here. This was one of the harder things I did this year, but also one of the most rewarding. My health is better, I don't have that constant dependency, and I feel more in control.
Mersing trip and birthday
Celebrated my birthday with a trip to Mersing. Beach, friends, and good food. Simple but exactly what I needed. There was also a birthday event that brought together people I care about. These moments of connection and celebration made the year feel even more special.

Upcoming
Still figuring out what 2026 looks like, but there are projects in motion and goals taking shape. More updates to come as this post evolves.
[TODO: Add 2026 goals section]
Like I said, this is a WIP. I'll be adding more details, photos, and reflections as I have time to process everything that happened this year. Check back for updates.
